Champs RS Group, Inc. of Grand Prairie, Texas, announces its acquisition by Food Service Supply, LLC. This strategic addition to Food Service Supply’s growing portfolio, solidifies its intention to build a rapidly growing multi-location dealership. Additionally, the company plans to grow in strategic markets across the United States through potential acquisitions and organic expansion.
Food Service Supply, LLC was formed in late 2022 when it acquired FSS, a Salt Lake City, UT dealer. The current ownership of the new company includes the prior owners of the two dealerships, Mr. Andrew Zheng and Mr. Blake Fotheringham, and Plano, Texas-based private equity firm Baymark Partners. The new company intends to acquire additional foodservice equipment distribution locations in strategic markets across the US.
Mr. Zheng will lead the newly formed Food Service Supply, LLC as CEO, “I am excited to expand our markets and improve efficiency to reduce lead times for our customers. In addition, this merger is the beginning to better our company in offering greater services and selections to our customers” – Andrew Zheng.
The company will operate out of two locations, the prior Champs RS Group dealership at 1202 Fountain Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75050, and the previous FSS dealership at 2780 W. Directors Row, Salt Lake City, UT 84104. Food Service Supply will replace Champs as a member of the PRIDE Centric Resources strategic buying group effective 2/26/2023.
