Do you have a niche or unique market? We cover a broad spectrum from cash and carry to contract jobs and ice and dish machine.
How did you get involved in the Foodservice Industry? Started in the industry in 1975 at Dick’s Restaurant Supply. I did everything from pick up and delivery repair, some sales and anything else that Dick asked me to do.
Describe the best foodservice job that you have done? McMenamin’s Edgefield. They took the deserted county poor farm and converted into a Hotel, Spa, Event center.
Describe the best job you have done recently? Headwaters remodel of historic hotel.
What’s the greatest advice you have been given about this industry? Take care of the customer as you would like to be taken care of.
If you weren’t in foodservice, what other industries do you have an interest in? Auto sales… love to work around new and used cars.
What do you consider your greatest achievement? Starting the business from scratch and making a good living for 37years.
What’s your favorite activity to do locally? Golf. I enjoy the challenge, the getting outdoors, and the comradely with friends.
What is your favorite activity outside of the office? Spending time at the beach, fishing, hiking, sight seeing.
Where is your favorite place to travel? Las Vegas. I enjoy the shows, the gaming, all the excitement.
